All long camera optics are now polished, AR-coated,
and delivered to OCIW.
Assembly of the long camera optics and mechanics will
begin in January, 2002.
The following images show element L05, a 300mm diameter
CaF2 element, which
appears to have some sub-surface damage from generation,
which only became
apparent when the lens was AR coated.
